Try it out yourself. Enter the world of Arabba, read the history and explore the true spirit of these places.

The spring sun welcomes us and the warmth of the abundant Hotel breakfast provides us with the ideal energy. The crisp blanket of snow is very promising, fueling our excitement: it’s time to begin.

Every time I climb back up the slopes of Arabba I understand the bond that is established between nature, the locals and the loyal travelers who spend their vacation in this region. Every time I come back I experience the same pleasant emotions, accompanied by the stories of those working in the tourist centres, in the midst of the attractions and the district, organizing everything to perfection for visitors. Every time, there’s one more reason to come back.
“There’s those who arrive for the first time, but we know will come back. Maybe next year, maybe in a while, but the Marmolada, the Giro della Grande Guerra and Sella are unforgettable places, pleasing to the eye, cradling your sense of smell, with the taste of beauty”, says Francesco – sun kissed after spending days under the wonderful sun – whom we’re talking to while standing in line for the Arabba Fly chair lift.

Exchanging memories of the last season, events experienced in previous seasons, stories told by local characters, by the alpine guides, by people well-known in the hotel: that’s the best way to comprehend Arabba.

Everything is ready now, we’re pumped, smiles all-around, on the way up we meet new people, while some of them we already met in the alpine huts of Arabba. An active day is all you need during the last weeks of the ski season.
“During this period the snow is fantastic, it’s giving us a wonderful season that will certainly last until the beginning of April”, he smiles. “It’s excellent for me as well, it makes work easier”. I know he’s kidding because his job has responsibilities. Every night – for the whole season – he takes care of the slopes, he knows every corner of this paradise and, with patience and effort, he allows us to ski and snowboard safely and peacefully.

It’s a job that not everyone is aware of, but it is a cornerstone of life in the mountains. The entire area of Arabba – from Canazei to Corvara in Badia – has important figures hidden in its midst, able to give you magical days and precious experiences.
Andrea is a perfect reflection of this philosophy.
We continue to talk and he tells me that the season is almost over. The slopes will be open until April 10 and, like every year, Arabba allows you to ski right down to the last moment of the season. Music to my ears, excitement for my passion of the mountains.

I’ll be back at the end of March with my family, for the “-25%” promotion: spring in the Dolomites will be unforgettable.
