Viel Dal Pan
A historical path, used for commercial exchanges that took place between the different valleys.
Departure from Arabba with the Porta Vescovo cableway that takes you already at an altitude of 2500m, from here take path 601 which, on a slight descent, goes along the ridge of the Fedaia Pass continuing towards Pordoi. The itinerary develops without great altimetric difficulties remaining always at high altitude in a unique scenario; below the Fedaia lake dominated by the imposing Marmolada glacier, in front of you the Sella group with the Sas Becè, the Sasso Lungo and the Sasso Piatto. Once at the Pordoi, we recommend to visit the Great War museum and the Germanic Ossuary. From the Pordoi Pass we recommend the descent with the Fodom cable car that will take you to Pont de Vauz from there continue for another 40 minutes towards Arabba along a path of meadows and pastures with the possibility to meet cows or marmots.
