Story of puppeteers - The Corniani family is recognized as a family of puppet artists thanks to Augusto Corniani, who began his career as a puppeteer in 1944. Since then, Augusto has continuously practiced the profession until 1997; in the meantime, Maurizio, Augusto's son, learned the art while assisting his father and has continued the profession to this day. Maurizio’s son, Cesare, has already debuted with his own show featuring visible animated puppets. On the occasion of the eightieth anniversary of the founding of the Corniani family of puppeteers from Mantova, Cesare and Maurizio wanted to pay tribute to the founder of the company with this production, which integrates the three generations of the family of artists. The puppet voices are by Augusto Corniani, taken from a tape recorded in 1987, while the animations in the puppet theater will be managed by Cesare and Maurizio Corniani.
