THE SNOW OF FRANZEDAS – daily snowshoe hike – GUIDE ELENA
At the foot of Queen Marmolada, a hidden valley rises behind the Cime d’Auta, a valley of ancient alpine pastures in the Agordino Dolomites, home to chamois and ibex. Bring your own packed lunch. Elevation gain: 550m – Difficulty: medium-challenging – Meeting point: 9:30 AM at the parking lot in front of the Malga Ciapela camping (Rocca Pietore) – Cost: 25 euros. Possible rental of snowshoes + poles: 10 euros/pair – Maximum 15 participants allowed
