The Sound of Bagpipes in the village of Arabba

During the most magical time of the year, Arabba hosts an event rich in charm and tradition: the arrival of the bagpipe players, the protagonists of an authentic experience that enriches the town's Christmas atmosphere. Starting at 4:30 PM, for about an hour, the streets of the center will come alive with melodies performed by Giovanni Borraro (pipe) and Mario Spolidoro (bagpipe), two musicians from Salerno specialized in popular Christmas music. Dressed in traditional costumes, the artists present a repertoire of ancient and evocative pieces linked to pastoral culture and the Christmas celebrations of the past. The archaic sound of the bagpipe and pipe leads residents and visitors on a small journey into memory, filled with simple and genuine emotions.
