Some rules to remember:
- The dog must necessarily be accompanied on a leash, even outdoors and on footpaths, as it is easy to find grazing animals or wild species in their habitat, so it is your duty to preserve all specimens and keep your dog close and tied up, to avoid unpleasant accidents.
- Dogs are allowed on public transport, but must wear a muzzle and be kept on a leash.
- Dogs are allowed on the lifts, wearing a muzzle and leash and paying a small surcharge to be checked at the start of each lift. Assistance dogs are carried free of charge and without a muzzle unless expressly requested by other passengers or by the lift operator.
- It is necessary to have bags to collect dog droppings as well as a small bottle of water to clean up their urine. In Arabba and throughout the municipality there are special 'dog toilets' with bags and bins in which to dispose of excrement.
- Dogs must be duly registered in the dog registers.
