Arabba is preparing for the challenge on Saturday, September 6, with the Arabba - Passo Pordoi BIKE & RUN Time Trial
Final preparations are underway for one of the most eagerly awaited events for lovers of mountain climbing. Saturday, September 6, 2025, will see the Arabba - Passo Pordoi BIKE & RUN Time Trial, a non-competitive event that combines sport, passion, and the breathtaking scenery of the Dolomites.
Starting at 8:00 a.m. at 1,602 meters in Arabba, participants will tackle the legendary route that leads to Passo Pordoi, at an altitude of 2,239 meters. A 637-meter climb, spread over 9.2 kilometers and 33 hairpin bends, this route is a historic symbol of cycling in the Dolomites and often the scene of epic stages of the Giro d'Italia.
The big news this year is that the event is also open to runners: not only strictly muscular bikes, but also legs and heart for those who love mountain running. At the end of the climb, in Arabba, the “King” and “Queen” of Passo Pordoi will be symbolically crowned, namely the participants, one on a bike and one on foot, male and female, who record the best time.
The event is open to a maximum of 200 participants, and the registration fee is set at €15. E-bikes and pedal-assisted bikes are not allowed in the cycling category: only the strength of your own legs. Race bibs and race packs can be collected on the morning of the race, from 7:15 to 7:45 a.m., at the Arabba Tourist Office.
Registration is still open, but places are limited: those who wish to participate are invited to book as soon as possible.
