New Regulation: Ski Helmet Mandatory for Everyone on Italian Slopes

Starting from the 2025/2026 winter season, it is mandatory to wear a helmet on the slopes for anyone practicing winter sports, including skiing, snowboarding, telemark, freestyle, and sledding, regardless of age. This rule has been introduced to enhance safety and reduce the risk of accidents on the slopes.

Compliance with the regulation will be monitored by law enforcement officers, present directly on the slopes. Skiers and snowboarders are therefore encouraged to ensure they are always properly equipped before hitting the slopes.
