Sellaronda Bike Day 06/06/2026: Car-Free Cycling Event in the Dolomites
Non-competitive event reserved for bike lovers around the Sella Massif and the Dolomites
On Saturday, June 6, 2026, the 20th edition of the Sellaronda Bike Day returns to the Dolomites, offering cyclists one of the most scenic and iconic road biking events in Europe.
For the occasion, the four famous mountain passes around the Sella massif will be completely closed to motorized traffic from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, creating a unique cycling experience through breathtaking alpine landscapes and legendary Giro d’Italia roads.
During the Sellaronda Bike Day, cyclists can safely ride across four spectacular Dolomite passes:
- Passo Pordoi
- Passo Campolongo
- Passo Gardena
- Passo Sella
The Sellaronda Bike Day route is a 51.8 km circular loop with approximately 1,680 meters of elevation gain, surrounded by the stunning scenery of the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites.
This is a non-competitive cycling event:
- no race
- no official start or finish line
- no timing or rankings
Participants are free to choose where to start, which direction to ride, and their own pace throughout the route.
