The 2026 Giro d’Italia returns to the Dolomites as one of the most spectacular and eagerly awaited stages of the entire race: Stage 19 from Feltre to the Piani di Pezzè in Alleghe. A true Dolomite queen stage that promises emotions, breathtaking scenery, and decisive battles for the general classification.
Arabba Fodom Dolomitis will be crossed at a key moment of the stage. The riders will face the final technical descent from
Passo Falzarego, heading towards Cernadoi, at the junction turning left to reach the village of Collaz and say farewell to the territory of Livinallongo del Col di Lana.
In this section, the riders will have the opportunity to admire one of the most fascinating historical landmarks of the Fodom valley:
Andraz Castle, set among the mountains and a centuries-old witness of history.
After this scenic passage, the race will enter its decisive phase with the final demanding climb towards the Piani di Pezzè in Alleghe, where a battle is expected among the big contenders for the stage victory and potentially the pink jersey.
